Women’s Day Off-Road Trail – Thar Naariz Take the Wheel

A morning filled with adventure, laughter, and confidence as the women of Thar Bengaluru took control of the trail on a special Women’s Day off-road drive in collaboration with Forum Mall South Bengaluru.

Early Morning Assembly

The day began with participants assembling at Forum Mall South Bengaluru at 6:15 AM. The excitement was visible from the very beginning as the women gathered around their Thars, ready for a day of adventure.

The stage soon turned lively when the group broke into an impromptu dance session, setting the mood for the day. It was the perfect start — energetic, fun, and filled with enthusiasm.

Breakfast & Camaraderie

Before hitting the trail, the convoy stopped at IDC Kitchen for a quick breakfast. Over plates of idli and kesari bath, conversations flowed easily as everyone shared laughs and excitement for the off-road drive ahead.

Flag-Off to the Trail

At 8:15 AM, the convoy of Thars was officially flagged off. Engines roared to life as the vehicles rolled out towards the day’s destination — an abandoned quarry, chosen as the playground for the off-road trail. The drive itself was scenic, building anticipation for what was to come.

Conquering the Quarry

The quarry offered the perfect terrain for off-roading — rocky sections, articulation patches, and uneven climbs. The women of Thar Bengaluru, proudly taking the wheel, navigated the obstacles with confidence and determination. One by one, the vehicles tackled the terrain, demonstrating both skill and courage.

The climb up the quarry hill, surrounded by forest, was a thrilling moment. Every participant successfully completed the section, making it a proud and memorable experience.

Spotters & Trail Humour

Of course, off-roading is always a team effort. While the women dominated the driver’s seat, the men played their role as spotters, guiding the vehicles through tricky sections. Adding a bit of humour to the moment, someone joked:

“Behind every successful woman, there are men… standing behind the tyres!”

The laughter perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

The Temple Climb

After the quarry trail, the convoy headed towards a hilltop temple. The approach involved steep roads and a short stretch of rock crawling, adding one last challenge before reaching the top. The climb was both adventurous and scenic, rewarding the drivers with beautiful views and a sense of accomplishment.
